When you ask a layman on the street to name the religions he knows, the two that would immediately pop out of his mount would be Christianity, and Islam. After which he would go, 'Ehhhhh' and look up in the sky like the answer would drop from the clouds. Most people don't know that there are more than a dozen religions in the world, and Christianity and Islam put together represent only half the religions of the 7.5 billion people on Earth. I have put together this article to shed some light on some of the other religions of the world. So, below is the top 6 religions of the world, with size (population) as the criteria.
All about things out of the ordinary...Paranormal Activities, Nature, Art, Entertainment, Lifestyle, and Conspiracy Theories.

Are Religious Countries More Likely to be Poor?
I have pondered on this all my life, but I think about this more these days. Are religious countries more likely to be poor? Why do we have the most churches, the biggest churches, and the most prolific pastors in the world in our dear country, Nigeria, and yet a large portion of our population languish in poverty? While a country like France which has majorly atheists citizens is so beautiful and well developed, with inhabitants living way above poverty level. Why? Is it that 'God' prefers to bless the non-religious people, living the religious people to suffer? I know a lot of religious people that follow all the doctrines in the Bible, and yet are as poor as church rats. But the richest man in the world, Bill Gates an Atheist? Why?

Atheism Is Not A Religion
"Atheism is a religion like abstinence is a sex position."
- Bill Maher
First of all, I like to clarify something...I am not an Atheist. I consider myself more of a Universalist. I don't know if there is any word like that, but that is how I can describe myself. I believe that their is a supreme being, and he has given us the allowance to reach him in various ways...whether through Mohamed, or Jesus, or Budha...It is still one source; one destination, we are just on different paths to the same destination.
I try to study all the religions of the world, and non religious beliefs too, and know why everyone thinks or believes what they do. In all this, I have noticed that religious people tend to mistake Atheism for a religion. They believe Atheist are 'a people' who have chosen to turn their back on God. Some go ahead to believe that Atheists gather together somewhere and make some plans to take over the world and turn everyone to atheists; or that they collectively worship Baphomet or the devil and all that...all these beliefs of Atheists are far from the truth.Sunday, 5 January 2014
Is There a Possibility of One World Religion?
Yea, that's the question I asked myself this morning. Is there a possibility of one world religion? I think it will greatly reduce the hate and wars that have ravaged mankind in the last millennial. I am a Christian, but I have been able to step out of myself, and just view the world from a freethinker's eyes, and see all the loopholes of all the religions in the world. I know that, even though Christianity (which has the most followers in the world) claims every other religion is false, it doesn't have all things correct. For example, Christians always blame Muslims of being violent and the cause of most of the wars in the world, but fail to understand that Islam is very similar to Christianity of the Old Testament. If you don't understand what I am implying, read some of the verses from the old testament I have put below-Exodus 32:27-29
Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.' "The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. Then Moses said, "You have been set apart to the LORD today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed you this day."
1 Samuel 15:3,8
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' " … He took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and all his people he totally destroyed with the sword.
Hosea 13:16
Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword, their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.

There are lots more very violent sounding verses of the Old Testament, but these three should give you an idea of what I am trying to say...people that condemn violence of Islamic people can't totally claim innocence for their religion. To add more to this, back in the middle ages, the Christian Crusades claimed more lives than Islamic jihads ever claimed. I am not tying to make one religion look better than the other, I am just trying to point to the fact that most religions of today are built on the notion of hating whoever doesn't believe and follow their doctrines. And because of this, we continue to have wars in this world of ours.
It us all a crazy circle. The people of Israel believe they are the chosen people of God, and so, they believe present day Israel (current geographical location of Isreal) is the land God promised them, and so fight all the original inhabitants of the land (Palestinians) with the mid that God is with them in the war. Americans align with Isreal, and also are enemies of the Arabs, because most Arabs don't want the control of their oil, or Westernization of their lands by Americans. So, Arabs go to war, and operate in a way they feel they can operate when they feel they are being oppressed...which the world sees as terrorism. And the wars go on and on and on...all in the name of religion.
Well, I'm not saying all wars have been fought as a result of hate between people of different religions, no. Of course, there is the longing for power and riches (oil), but there is a large portion of incidences in human history that wars have sparked out of hate for people of different religions. I totally believe that there is only one God, and we all, in different religions, communicate with him through different ways. Even those who don't believe in God believe that there is one source of Power/Intelligence that we all use, regardless of religion or race.
My conclusion is that, if there could be formed, a religion which can bring everyone in the world together, then there would be no need to hate another human being that you have never met, because he doesn't follow your own doctrines. And when there is less hate in the world, there would be more love among human beings. And thus, less wars. And if having one religion is not possible, at least let everyone be taught to respect the next person's religion.

My Conversations With God- Part 3
Read part 1 & 2 here- One and Two
So, I was talking to God one day, and my friend hit me up with an IM on facebook about her sister being in Labor. I continued to chat with her and speak with God at the same time. The girl asked me to pray for her sister, that she was scared cos the labor was taking too long. So, I told God about it (ofcos I didn't tell the girl I was talking to God). Then He (God) told me the lady in woman in labor was going to be alright, and that she would deliver a baby girl. Well, that is a 50/50 thing...it is either a boy a girl, but I told the girl anyway. I told her I just got an inspiration and that her sister will be okay, and that she would have a baby girl.

I told her I just got an inspiration and that her sister will be okay, and that she would have a baby girl.
My friend was happy and angry at the same time; she thanked me for saying her sister would be okay, but she said the sister
already had a girl, and that they really wanted a boy. I said, well, I am sorry
to tell you this, but I am 100% sure your sister is going to have a baby girl.
Knowing that I wasn't necessarily a saint, or a prophet or anything, she
dismissed my claims and change the subject. So, I asked God to tell me something
else surrounding the woman in labor that would make my friend believe me.
So, He told me the mother of the baby girl (my friend’s sister) is going to
name the girl Joy.

I lost my phone a couple of days after chatting with her,
and I wasn't in touch with her for a while. When I eventually got a new phone, and
added her, she asked- ‘Who Are You?’ I told her, its me Kay, your friend. But,
she said she knows my name and that I am her friend on facebook, but she wanted
to know if I was some type of spirit. It happened that her sister had given birth to a baby girl
a few hours after we stopped chatting, and then when she was trying to get in
touch me to let me know it was indeed a girl, i disappeared. She couldn't get
me on facebook, or through my two numbers. So, I told her again that it was an
inspiration I got, and that anyone could also get the inspirations from God if they wanted
to be a chanel...if he/she listened to God.
She later told me that the girl’s name was favor or
something...I can’t remember, but it definitely wasn't Joy. I told her that was
impossible. She asked what I meant by that, and let me know that the naming had already been done,
and that was what the baby had been bearing for some weeks now. I was confused,
because I knew God couldn't be wrong. So, during our further discussions, she let her
sister know that she had finally got in touch with me. She also told her sister
about the supposed name we were having an argument about, and her sister was
dumbfounded. We got to know that that was the name the mother actually gave the
child, and was meant to be her first name, but the father wanted her to be
called another name instead. We learnt that she even had a heated argument with the
husband over this.
Long story short, the lady invited me over, as she said she
had to see the Prophet that knew her baby before she was born. Sometime in 2011, I went
over to their home, and held the baby in my arms. This is just one other story
that proves that I really have been talking to God. My friend is still on my
facebook list, and if she is reading this, I would love for her to comment in
support of this story.
About the lessons about that life that I learnt from God, I
can sum it up in one short paragraph.
During the course of your life on Earth, what ever you do on Earth, whether Good or Bad, you will reap
the fruits of it on this Earth. Treat your neighbor as you would thy
self...your neighbor could be your friend or an enemy.

My Conversations With God- Part 2
If you haven't read the first part, I'd advice you do so before continuing- My Conversations With God- Part 1
After my cousin had settled in, I asked her how she had gotten here so early from Abeokuta. I also asked why she didn't call before heading over. She said she had been tired of home and wanted to go somewhere new for a couple of weeks, and that she suddenly woke up at around 3 a.m with the inspiration to pack her things and move. She said she had her bath, and left her house at about 3:30 am. "How did you get a bus at that time?" I asked her. She said she just started walking to the bus stop without thinking of how she was going to get a bus, and then a man she knew in the area parked his car in front of her. Long story short, he was heading to Lagos, and he volunteered to take her down.
She got to Iyana Ipaja bus stop (Along Abeokuta express) around 5 am, and got a straight bus going to our neighborhood. That was how she got to our house; and that was the one ultimate sign God used to win me over. God bless her soul- Bisola passed away 3 weeks ago. It was while thinking of the time I spent with her that I remembered how I stared my conversations with God.
So, the conversations went on, and I asked more and more questions from God. Some I can't remember, but most I rephrased and put on my facebook wall over the years. They say you don't remember what people say to you, but definitely remember how they made you feel. I want to share another story related to my relationship with God. Please note that at this point, God was like my buddy, and there was no aspect of my life I couldn't discuss with him. On this very occasion, about 3 years ago, I was seeing a girl, but her response to me wasn't how I would like it to be. So, I spoke to God about it.
Me- 'God, I have this girl I like so much.'
God- 'Then what seems to be the problem?'
Me- 'I don't know if she likes me enough.'
God- 'Hmm!'
Me- 'I just want to know if she is the one for me.'
God- 'To be honest with you, there is no one true love out there, so, depending on the kind of person you are at any particular time, you get the perfect match for you.'
Me- 'Hmm!'
God- 'So, the person you are speaking of, what exactly do you want to know about her?'
Kay- 'I like her very much, but I know I am not everything she wants right now, I just want to know if she would be worth planning for in the future.'
God- 'Yes, she is.'
Kay- 'She is? Are you sure?'
God- 'There you go again, always doubting. I know what works for you is unbelievable signs from me, right?'
Kay- 'lol! Yea. Can you...give me a sign before the end of today (Saturday).
God- 'Okay.'
Kay- 'I am not going out today, so I don't know how the sign will come, but...'
God- 'Don't worry, you will get your unbelievable sign before the end of today.
So, i went on my daily activities in the house, and about 2 hours after my conversation with God, my phone rang. It was a young boy, and he was asking if he was speaking with Olumide (that is my middle name). I said yes, and he said he didn't know why he was calling, but he just got the number from his sister's phone and called me. It was strange, and i questioned him more. He still said he didn't know why he was calling. Why would someone just pick up his sister's phone and call a random number on there. So, I remembered I was waiting for a sign from God. I asked him for his sister's name, and he said 'Monica.' I sighed. That was her second name; I mean the girl I was talking to God about. The day we met, for some funny reason, we had agreed to call each other by our second names.
I called her up immediately, and told her everything; she was speechless. She started telling all her friends, because this was something spiritual, if nothing else. We agreed to meet and speak on the issue extensively. I wont like to go on with this matter, I just wanted to tell another story related to how God convinced me he was the one speaking with me. The girl is on my facebook friend list, and if she is reading this, I would love for her to verify my claims concerning this story.
For those who want to hear some serious stories, and not a love story, I am sorry if I disappointed you. But I will surely give you some serious stories in the last and concluding post. The concluding article in this series, which is going to be third will have two more stories, and a few lessons about life I learnt from God.

My Conversations With God- Part 1
This post is not for everyone, but if you have an open your mind, you might grasp a truth. I actually wanted to write a book on this, but since the conversations are still ongoing, I decided to write an article about it. Please note that this is a very touchy subject for me to write about because of how close-minded a lot of people can be, but I have tried to tone down my language of explanation on this particular matter. Yes, there is already a book of the same title in stores. And yes, I was inspired by the book. But everything in this post is real, I didn't make up anything, and It is definitely not my imagination.
Like the author (Neale Donald Walsch) of the book that inspired this post, I might not believe in some teachings and beliefs of current religions, but I do believe in a supreme being. And my belief is that he always speaks to us all, if we would just listen. He speaks to us through different means...some times, he might speak to you through a friend, a stranger; or he might whisper some things in your mind, like that voice that sometimes speak to you in your head. But, he, the all knowing, is always with you. And you don't really need to climb a mountain, or fast for 40 days, or perform some specific rituals for you to hear him. But of course, if you believe you have to do all that for you to hear him or stay connected to him, then that is what will work for you. But, there is no set definite route to communicating with God. Maybe you have to quiet your mind to hear from him, but that is about it.
You must be wondering right now- 'Who is this guy to be speaking with such authority.' Some people might even shout 'BLASPHEMY!!!', or say I have lost my mind. I am not a pastor, and definitely not a saint in any way, so it would be hard to get people to take me serious. That is why I said at the beginning of the article that this post is not for everyone, but f you open your mind, you my grasp a truth in it.
About 5 years ago, I had just gotten home from my National Youth Service in Anambra state, and was a jobless graduate roaming the streets. I started spending my spare time reading a lot of books and articles. I wanted to understand the world, and know why I was here. I wanted to know what my purpose on Earth was. One day, I decided to read the Bible from front to back. It took me about half a year, cos I was always falling asleep while reading Exodus and the books that followed. But when I got to the New Testament, it all started to make sense. Anyway, i read the whole Bible, and instead of having a clear mind, I had a million and one more questions.
I had read about the frequency at which God spoke with Moses in the Bible, and i believed that if it was possible once, then it sure would be possible again. So, I started quieting my mind for several minutes a day, and believing in my mind that one day, I would hear the voice of God. One day, after several weeks of this practice, I started having a conversation with the voice in my head. It was asking me why I wasn't doing anything with the knowledge I had gotten already. I said I needed more knowledge, that I wanted to know it all. The voice then advised me to act on what I already knew, or I would become like many teachers of the past that only lived to know the answer, but never applied them in their own lives. I took a minute to examine my life, and discovered that that was exactly how my life was. I was pleased with just updating my facebook wall with wise words, but I rarely applied them in my own life.
After a few minutes of speaking with the voice in head, I asked it how come it knew so much, and where the knowledge was coming from. It then said, I have been searching for what was never lost. I asked what he meant, and he asked- 'Aren't you searching for something?' And I said yes, and he said, he is that. Okay, at that moment, I was confused, and asked a more direct question- 'Are you God?' And he said, yes.
At that moment, I took a deep breath, and shook my head. I thought I was loosing it. I didn't say anything again, and started reasoning with my left brain, thinking of how this could be possible, and then he said, 'you can never get the answer there.' Then I said, okay, give me a sign. Do something unbelievable...something so out of the ordinary that I would have to accept that this is not just my imagination. He then said, if he did just anything, my rational mind would still term it a coincidence, but that I should choose anything I wanted to happen; Anything I felt was almost impossible. It was about 11:30 pm, and I was still staying at my parents house at the time. So I thought for a minute about what I could ask him to do. Then I came up with an idea. I said, 'I am about to fall asleep now, I want a visitor from out of town to wake me up before dawn.'
We weren't expecting any visitors any time soon, and definitely not tomorrow. And I thought there was no way someone would come to our house before daylight tomorrow that we had not already gotten a call from. I fell asleep shortly after telling God how I wanted him to prove he was the one speaking to me.
I was awoken by the sound of banging on the gate. It was still dark, and I checked my phone's clock, and saw it was 5:30 a.m. My dad was out his room as I made my way downstairs. He said it was probably the vigilantes, and that maybe they wanted to pass a message to him. I asked him to go back to sleep, that I would get the message. I got to the gate, and took a deep breath before saying- 'Who is it?' The person said with a jovial voice, 'Kayode emi ni, Bisola.' Meaning, Kayode, it is me, Bisola. My heart skipped 10 beats.
Part 2

Jesus Was Not a Christian
Yea, it is a funny statement, but Jesus was not a Christian. A lot of people don't really understand the genesis of the religion called Christianity. Christians are meant to be followers of Christ, but how many of his ways do they follow? Today's Christianity is a mix of so many religions, and people choose what part of the Bible to follow. People should know that Jews orchestrated the death of Jesus of Nazareth because they believed he was blasphemous in claiming to be the son of God. After his death was when Christianity was birthed, as a small select of his followers started working in his ways, thus being called Christians.
It is also necessary to note that the Bible wasn't written till 400 years after the Death of Jesus Christ. 400 years. This means that none of the people that witnessed him while on Earth were around to help write the Bible. Think about that. And it is also funny that Jews still don't believe Jesus was the son of God, but they are believed to be God's chosen people. Till this day, Jews do not believe in Christ, and thus are not Christians, but there place is said to be reserved in heaven. A lot of people don't even know that the Torah (the Hebrew holy book) is part of the Old Testament. I don't think the Christian Bible should have the old Testament. The Bible should be just the new testament...If it is meant for Christians (Christ followers), it shouldn't have any part of the old testament. Maybe for reference purposes or further reading, but I feel the old and new testaments greatly contradict each other, and has caused a lot of confusion in the world today. Jesus was not even a Jew, he was a Judean.
Jesus was not a Christian in the way Christianity is currently portrayed. Jesus preached love...even for your enemy. Jesus never preached wishing death on your enemy. If Jesus had come in this time and age, he would still have been killed by over-religious people. Because Jesus was not religious in his time, he came to change everything...every law that the Jews were following at the time was questioned by Jesus. Jesus was not religious, he was spiritual; there is a big difference there. he taught people on mountains, at river banks, at market squares, rarely was he preaching to people via the system of the religion of the day. So much of the ways of Christianity currently in the world is far from being christ-like. Read this quote from Desmond Tutu.

"God is not Christian. We are supposed to proclaim the God of love, but we have been guilty as Christians of sowing hatred and suspicion: we commend the one whom we call the Prince of Peace, and yet as Christians we have fought more wars than we care to remember. We have claimed to be a fellowship of compassion and caring and sharing, but as Christians we often sanctify socio-political systems that belive this, where the rich grow ever richer and the poor grow ever poorer."

Some Weird Religions
I got this from listverse.com and I thought I should share. Some really weird religions of the world...really really weird.
10
Scientology
Scientology has featured on a previous list, but if I didn’t include it here the comments would be inundated with “where’s scientology?” questions. The Church of Scientology is a cult created by L Ron Hubbard (Elron) in 1952 as an outgrowth of his earlier self-help system called Dianetics. The Church of Scientology holds that at the higher levels of initiation (OT levels) mystical teachings are imparted that may be harmful to unprepared readers. These teachings are kept secret from members who have not reached these levels. In the OT levels, Hubbard explains how to reverse the effects of past-life trauma patterns that supposedly extend millions of years into the past. Among these advanced teachings is the story of Xenu (sometimes Xemu), introduced as an alien ruler of the “Galactic Confederacy.” According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Scientologists at advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating body thetans and neutralizing their ill effects.

Creativity Movement
The Creativity Movement (formerly known as World Church Of The Creator), is a white separatist organization that advocates the whites-only religion, Creativity. It was also a descriptive phrase used by Ben Klassen, that included all adherents of the religion. The use of the term creator does not refer to a deity, but rather to themselves (white people). Despite the former use of the word Church in its name, the movement is atheistic. Creativity is a White Separatist religion that was founded by Ben Klassen in early 1973 under the name Church of the Creator. After Klassen’s death in 1993, Creativity almost died out as a religion until the New Church of the Creator was established three years later by Matthew F. Hale as its Pontifex Maximus (high priest), until his incarceration in January 2003 for plotting with the movement’s head of security, Anthony Evola (an FBI informant), to murder a federal judge.

Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth
Obviously spelling is not a fundamental part of this religion! Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth (TOPY) was founded in 1981 by members of Psychic TV, Coil, Current 93, and a number of other individuals. The ever-evolving network is a loosely federated group of people operating as a unique blend of artistic collective, and practitioners of magic. TOPY is dedicated to the manifestation of magical concepts lacking mysticism or the worship of gods. The group focuses on the psychic and magical aspects of the human brain linked with “guiltless sexuality”. Throughout its existence, TOPY has been an influential group in the underground Chaos magic scene and in the wider western occult tradition. TOPY’s research has covered both Left-hand path and Right-hand path magick, various elements of psychology, art, music, and a variety of other media. Some of the influences on the network have been Aleister Crowley, Austin Osman Spare, and Brion Gysin.

Nation of Yahweh
The Nation of Yahweh is a predominantly African-American religious group that is the most controversial offshoot of the Black Hebrew Israelites line of thought. They were founded in 1979 in Miami by Hulon Mitchell, Jr., who went by the name Yahweh ben Yahweh. Their goal is to return African Americans, whom they see as the original Israelites, to Israel. The group departs from mainstream Christianity and Judaism by accepting Yahweh ben Yahweh as the Son of God. In this way, their beliefs are unique and distinct from that of other known Black Hebrew Israelite groups. The group has engendered controversy due to legal issues of its founder and has also faced accusations of being a black supremacist cult by the Southern Poverty Law Center and The Miami Herald. The SPLC has criticized the beliefs of the Nation of Yahweh as racist, stating that the group believed blacks are “the true Jews” and that whites were “white devils.” They also claim the group believed Yahweh ben Yahweh had a Messianic mission to vanquish whites and that they held views similar to the Christian Identity movement.

Church of All Worlds
The Church of All Worlds is a neo-pagan religion founded in 1962 by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart and his wife Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart. The religion evolved from a group of friends and lovers who were in part inspired by a fictional religion of the same name in the science fiction novel Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein; the church’s mythology includes science fiction to this day. They recognize “Gaea,” the Earth Mother Goddess and the Father God, as well as the realm of Faeries and the deities of many other pantheons. Many of their ritual celebrations are centered on the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. Following the tradition of using fiction as a basis for his ideas, Zell-Ravenheart recently founded The Grey School of Wizardry inspired in part by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the school in the Harry Potter novels.

Universe People
Universe people or Cosmic people of light powers (Czech: Vesmírní lidé sil sv?tla) is a Czech religious movement centered around Ivo A. Benda. Its belief system is based upon the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations communicating with Benda and other “contacters” since October 1997 telepathically and later even by direct personal contact. According to Benda those civilizations operate a fleet of spaceships, led by Ashtar Sheran, orbiting the Earth. They closely watch and help the good and are waiting to transport their followers into another dimension. The Universe People’s teachings incorporate various elements from ufology (some foreign “contacters” are credited, though often also renounced after a time as misguided or deceptive), Christianity (Jesus was a “fine-vibrations” being) and conspiracy theories (forces of evil are supposed to plan compulsory chipping of the population).
4
Church of the SubGenius
The Church of the SubGenius is a parody religion that promotes slack, while in a meta-commentarial way, satirizes religion, conspiracy theories, UFOs, and popular culture. The church claims to have been founded in the 1950s by the “world’s greatest salesman” J. R. “Bob” Dobbs. “Bob” Dobbs is depicted as a cartoon of a Ward Cleaver-like man smoking a pipe. The church really started with the publication of SubGenius Pamphlet #1 in 1979. It found acceptance in underground pop-culture circles and has been embraced on college campuses, in the underground music scene, and on the Internet. An important SubGenius event occurred on July 5, 1998: X-Day. The Church had been predicting that on this day the world would be destroyed by invading alien armies known as the X-ists (which is short for “Men from Planet X”). When the event didn’t come to pass, the church administrator who predicted it was tarred and feathered – but allowed to continue on as administrator. Paul Reubens (Pee-wee Herman) is a SubGenius minister. Patrick Volkerding, the founder and maintainer of Slackware Linux, is also a SubGenius affiliate, and he has confirmed the Church and “Bob” inspired the name for Slackware.

Prince Philip Movement
The Prince Philip Movement is a cargo cult of the Yaohnanen tribe on the southern island of Tanna in Vanuatu. The Yaohnanen believe that Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the consort to Queen Elizabeth II, is a divine being, the pale-skinned son of a mountain spirit and brother of John Frum. According to ancient tales the son travelled over the seas to a distant land, married a powerful lady and would in time return. The villagers had observed the respect accorded to Queen Elizabeth II by colonial officials and came to the conclusion that her husband, Prince Philip, must be the son from their legends. When the cult formed is unclear, but it is likely that it was sometime in the 1950s or 1960s. Their beliefs were strengthened by the royal couple’s official visit to Vanuatu in 1974 when a few villagers had the opportunity to observe the prince from afar. Prince Philip was made aware of the religion and has exchanged gifts with its leaders and even visited them.

The Church of Euthanasia
The Church of Euthanasia (CoE), is a political organization started by the Reverend Chris Korda (pictured above) in the Boston, Massachusetts area of the United States. According to the church’s website, it is “a non-profit educational foundation devoted to restoring balance between Humans and the remaining species on Earth.” The CoE uses sermons, music, culture jamming, publicity stunts and direct action combined with an underlying sense of satire and black humor to highlight Earth’s unsustainable population. The CoE is notorious for its conflicts with Pro-life Christian activists. According to the church’s website, the one commandment is “Thou shalt not procreate”. The CoE further asserts four principal pillars: suicide, abortion, cannibalism (“strictly limited to consumption of the already dead”), and sodomy (“any sexual act not intended for procreation”). Slogans employed by the group include “Save the Planet, Kill Yourself”, “Six Billion Humans Can’t Be Wrong”, and “Eat a Queer Fetus for Jesus”, all of which are intended to mix inflammatory issues to unnerve those who oppose abortion and homosexuality.

Nuwaubianism
Nuwaubianism is an umbrella term used to refer to the doctrines and teachings of the followers of Dwight York. The Nuwaubians originated as a Black Muslim group in New York in the 1970s, and have gone through many changes since. Eventually, the group established a headquarters in Putnam County, Georgia in 1993, which they have since abandoned. York is now in prison after having been convicted on money laundering and child molestation charges, but Nuwaubianism endures. York developed Nuwaubianism by drawing on a wide range of sources which include Theosophy-derived New Age movements such as Astara as well as the Rosicrucians, Freemasonry, the Shriners, the Moorish Science Temple of America, the revisionist Christianity & Islam and the Qadiani cult of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the numerology of Rashad Khalifa, and the ancient astronaut theories of Zecharia Sitchin. White people are said in one Nuwaubian myth to have been originally created as a race of killers to serve blacks as a slave army, but this plan went awry. Here is a list of some of the more unusual Nuwaubian beliefs:
1. It is important to bury the afterbirth so that Satan does not use it to make a duplicate of the recently-born child
2. Furthermore, some aborted fetuses survive their abortion to live in the sewers, where they are being gathered and organized to take over the world
3. People were once perfectly symmetrical and ambidextrous, but then a meteorite struck Earth and tilted its axis causing handedness and shifting the heart off-center in the chest
4. Each of us has seven clones living in different parts of the world
5. Women existed for many generations before they invented men through genetic manipulation
6. Homo sapiens is the result of cloning experiments that were done on Mars using Homo erectus
7. Nikola Tesla came from the planet Venus
8. The Illuminati have nurtured a child, Satan’s son, who was born on 6 June 1966 at the Dakota House on 72nd Street in New York to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis of the Rothschild/Kennedy families. The Pope was present at the birth and performed necromantic ceremonies. The child was raised by former U.S. president Richard Nixon and now lives in Belgium, where it is hooked up bodily to a computer called “The Beast 3M” or “3666.”

The Nuwaubians built a city modelled on Ancient Egyptian buildings in Putnam County, Georgia (pictured above). It has now been demolished.
