Avengers: Infinity War Movie Directors (Russo Brothers) Talk about Female Superheroes in the Movie

We can say it is the most anticipated movie of 2018; Avengers: Infinity War is set to premiere in theater on the 27th of April, and people are so excited for this third installment in the Avengers movie series. The directors of the movie, the Russo brothers (Anthony Russo, and Joe Russo) also directed Captain America: Winter Soldier (2014), and Captain America: Civil War (2016), so they are not new to working with the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In their recent interview on ET (Entertainment Tonight), Joe and Anthony Russo spoke on the female superheroes that would appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

Joe Russo
"We have some great female characters in this. Captain Marvel is in it, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, we have...wakanda is coming in, and there is a whole group of characters that are coming from the wakandan universe; from black panther universe...amazingly strong characters, strong willed characters. And you know, we have the guardians, and two of the guardians are daughters of thanos, so there is a really strong connection to the main villain of the story. You'd see in the movie that they are very pivotal to the story-line, and I think the arks are fantastic. We're really proud of being able to introduce captain marvel on this one." (The Russo Brothers Interview on Entertainment Tonight).

This is really cool. I like the idea of more female superheroes in Infinity War. I can't wait to watch the movie when it is released. I particularly liked Winter Soldier and Civil War for the fight scenes; the hand to  hand combat was marvelous (no pun intended), and I am happy the Russo brothers are the ones that directed Infinity War. I know they did a great job.

The full interview is below...you can skip to the 5:45 mark in the video to hear them talk about the female super heroes in Avengers: Infinity War.
