Top 10 Youngest Billionaires in the World (2016)

You can get wealthy in different ways; you can marry into wealth, inherit it, work hard for it, build it up from the ground up, win the lottery, etc. It takes a while to gain entrance to the billionaires club if you are building it from the ground up, and so it is obvious that most of the people that made this list of top 10 youngest billionaires in the world inherited their wealth

10. Julio Mario Santo Domingo
Like most of the people on this list, Julio inherited his wealth. He was an American DJ before inheriting a fortune from his late grandfather, which was 15% stake in one of India's biggest beer companies, SABMiller. The 30 year old has a net worth of $2.5 billion.

9.  Eva Maria Braun-Luedicke
Eva was born into a family of wealth, and at some point, got the ownership of 11% of German medical product manufacturer, B. Braun Melsungen AG. She is 29 years old and has a net worth of $1.4 billion.

8.  Lukas Walton
The 29 year old American is worth a whooping $10.4 billion. He inherited his wealth from his father, John Walton who was Wal-Mart's heir. He received one third of his father's estate which included stakes in Wal-Mart, and solar panel manufacturer, First Solar.

7.  Wang Han
The only china man on the list. Wang Hang became a billionaire after inheriting shares in Shanghai-based regional airline, Juneyao Air, from his father, Wang Junyau. Wang owns 27% of the company. He is 28 years old and has a net worth of $1.3 billion.

6.  Bobby Murphy
One of the few self made billionaires on the list, Bobby Murphy and his friend, Evan Spiegel founded Snapchat in 2011, and the photo & video messaging company has grown to become a billion dollar company, with a net worth of over $16 billion. Funny thing was that in the early developmental stages of the company in 2013, Facebook offered to buy the company for $3 billion, but Bobby and Evan said no. The 28 year old American lives in Venice, California, and has a net worth of $1.8 billion.

5.  Ludwig Theodore Braun
Ludwig's shares in his father's medical products manufacturing company, B. Braun Melsungen AG put him on this list. The German is 26 years old, and has a net worth of $1.2 billion.

4.  Evan Spiegel
Evan is a co-founder of picture and video messaging app, Snapchat, which has a net worth of about $16 billion right now, and is used by at least 100 million people daily. He founded the company with his co-founder, Bobby Murphy in 2011. At first, the name of the app was Picaboo, but was later changed to Snapchat. The 25 year old lives in Los Angeles, California, and has a net worth of $2.1. I am sure he was inspired by Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook story, and decided to start his own online social media company. It is just so wonderful that he could create a company almost in the same league with Facebook in such a short while. The story is quite motivational, don't you think?

3.  Gustav Magnar Witzoe
Gustav has a net worth of $1.4 billion. The 22 year old owns 47% equity of Norwegian Salmon producing company, SALMAR ASA, which was founded by his father in 1991.

2.  Katharina Andresen
Like her younger sister, Alexandra, she became a billionaire when her father transferred some of the Andresen family company ownership to her and her sister. The Andresen name has been a household name in Norway for years, primarily known for its Tobacco brand, Tiedemanns. She is 20 years old, and has a net worth of $1.2 billion.

1.  Alexandra Andresen
Alexandra Andresen is the number one on our list. She is still a teenager (19 years old), and she has a net worth of $1.2 billion. Like her sister, Katharina, she got her wealth after her father transferred some of the family business to her. Popular Norwegian tobacco brand, Tiedemanns is one of the Andresen's well known companies.
